I'm a computer programmer. Primarily, I work in a language known as M or MUMPS. M was first developed at the Laboratory of Computer Science at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1967. MUMPS ain't pretty (no slick windows or graphics), but when it comes to manipulating character-oriented data you can't beat it's speed or string handling capabilities.

You can learn more about M by following these links:

Of course, everyone loves a nice graphical interface - so, for the past couple of years, I've been working at developing new programming skills with Delphi. Now I can program the slick windows and graphics along with everyone else.

Currently, I'm working for the Veterans Administration Information Office Field Office at Bay Pines, Florida on the Scheduling Re-Design Project.
